<p>I was wondering how high does SDSU rank in the U.S. News reports or other college ranking websites. I'm not sure if I would want to go to SDSU or UCR. Any information would be great.</p>

<p>You should focus on your major and then the overall school. For example, people will say SDSU is a non-ranked university but may also say has a reasonably good business school.</p>
<p>The overall “rule of thumb” around these forums is that any UC school is better than a state school. So, take many things into consideration, not just how other taking heads feel.</p>
