I applied to San Diego State University because I've heard it is a great business school. I've researched them a bit and this seems to be true. But, they're rated a third tier school by US News and are usually ranked in the 400 range by websites I've looked at. Also, I'm just looking at their undergraduate program right now, but I may be looking into a graduate program later. Can anyone who attends, has visited, or graduated from SDSU let me know? Thanks!

Does anyone know?..

Hmmm… I just looked at USNWR, and I think they have mis-categorized SDSU. All the other California State Universities are listed in “Master’s Universities, West,” while they put SDSU in “National Universites.” The California State Universities typically do not offer PhD-level degrees (except in partnership with a UC) and concentrate on undergraduate education rather than research. If SDSU had been placed with its peer universities in “Master’s Universities, West,” I am sure it would have ranked much higher. SDSU is certainly one of the more popular Cal States, as it is the 4th largest in terms of enrollment of the 23 CSUs.
My daughters friend completed her freshman year at SDSU in their honors business program and now is on a free-ride scholarship to NYU. Nice!
