I got into both schools, and I am planning on studying business. I can't decide whether I want huge like SDSU or a size like LMU. I have visited both, and loved them in different ways. I have to admit, girls and the social life are part of my decision to. Also, is LMU full of commuters? I would like the students to live on or near campus.

Please persuade me. :)

Anyone have any opinions?!?

If you have the opportunity to go to LMU v SDSU, I would take it. You are 1 in a million at SDSU and are definitely lost in the crowd. SDSU is also somewhat of a commuter school. Due to its size and financial position, LMU provides much more personal attention. The teachers know your name, you can get the help you want, if they don’t have a class you need they open a new one. (At SDSU you can’t even get most of the early classes you need.) LMU doesn’t have the intercollegiate sports. Greek, or clubs that SDSU has but it still is a pretty active student life (there is definitely partying if you want it).

I forgot…LMU is almost no commuters. They have housing for Freshman through Seniors (and a lot of it is very new). The business school is getting nationwide recognition and the internships at LA-area companies are supposed to be pretty good. And, no, I don’t work for LMU…but I am an undergrad there.

LMU has basketball and other intercollegiate sports. It’s a wonderful school, excellent for business. If the money works for LMU, it’s the clear winner. Not much of a commuter school, beautiful campus, lots of opportunities. SDSU is way too big, classes will be huge when they are available, due to budget cuts. It will take longer than 4 years, maybe 5 or 6 to graduate. Go with LMU, it’s a great school.
