Searching For Good Prospective Colleges

Hello everyone,

I am High School sophomore and I want to major in neuroscience with a minor in behavioral psychology. If possible I want to double up majors so that I can do neuroscience and microbiology at the same time.

My records are pretty good and I am entering the IB diploma program next year. My PSAT scores were in the 93rd percentile and I am going to the NSLC conference this summer.

I have already thought of two: King's College and Cambridge University (Both in the UK), however I do not know anyone who is in these fields or is interested in them. I have talked with my counselors and they haven't given me a great deal of information either.

I am looking for colleges in the UK, US or Canada who are recognized internationally and have very good programs.

Thank You for your help! :-)

P.S. I mainly want to focus on research rather than surgery/interventions.

What is your citizenship?
Any sense of what your financial need will be when you enter college (none, low, some, a lot)?
Any preferences besides majors? Size, urbanicity, climate, etc.?

AH yes I wrote this message in a hurry so here we go.

Citizenship: German/Libyan
Financial Needs: None
Size (College?): Medium to Large
Climate: No preference.

Johns Hopkins would be a reach but worth looking at.

The University of Rochester
