So Penn is definitely my top choice and I’m applying ED. I was going to apply to SEAS, but am I going to have a better chance at the college? And if so, what kind of engineering opportunities can I create for myself at the college. I’m not so sure that I want to be a hardcore engineer. I’m definitely considering going to business or med school later and planned on having an engineering backround. I guess I’m not to sure what I want to do with life but that’s what college is all about. What do you think are my chances at SEAS and the college? Here are my stats:

NJ Male
Ranked 13/474
GPA: 3.77 unweighted, 5.67/6 weighted

I take all honors and AP classes with the exception of 3 level 2’s throughout highschool (Wind Ensemble 11, 12 and Astronomy 12)

APs: Prob/Stat (10), Calc AB (11), Physics B (11), Psych (11), Calc II for the BC test (12), Physics II (12), Mod Euro Hist (12), English (12)

SAT: 1520 on the old one (800M, 720V) and 2210 (780M, 690V, 740W)…so my best combined is 2260

EC: Tennis (9-12, Varsity 11-12), Swimming (11-12, Varsity 11-12), Math Team (10-12), FBLA (10), REBEL (11), NHS (11-12, ran for a spot on the board),

More: I play tennis all year round. I play sax in Wind Ensemble (11-12) and avidly play guitar, considering starting a band. I volunteered at a Tennis Camp was a councelor and coach to young players (about 150 hours). I am fluent in Russian and was born in Latvia.

I’m working on my essays to make them as best as possible and I should have good reccs from my councelor and teachers. I also have a recc from a Wharton gradate.

My biggest worry is that I have 5 B’s thoughout highschool, 3 soph year (Eng, U.S. Hist I, and Chem) and 2 junior year (AP Psych, Spanish).

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
