I am likely to become an engineer at some point and may focus my studies on this for undergrad. What is the better option? Applying to the Fu Foundation NOW for ED (the stats show there are less apps and more acceptances) or apply Columbia College (more apps and less acceptances) and then transition into the Fu Foundation SEAS on their 4-1 plan?

"Applying to the Fu Foundation NOW for ED (the stats show there are less apps and more acceptances) or apply Columbia College (more apps and less acceptances)"

to be sure, this doesn't make getting into seas easier, the applicants are more competitive at seas, and a couple of years back when they published stats separately, the seas incoming class had a significantly higher average sat score and a higher % of student in the top 10% of HS class.

"and then transition into the Fu Foundation SEAS on their 4-1 plan?"

you mean the 3-2 program, the 4-1 is for seas student who want to study a degree at the college in addition to their seas degree. The 3-2 is fine, why do you want to do 2 degrees?

I was mistaken. I meant the 3-2. Thanks for your help on this. You're really knowledgeable about these things
