I'm currently a high school senior and would like to apply for Spring semester at University of Rochester. I'm at a crossroads at the moment. I got accepted to State but I feel like I could do much better. But I've screwed around during high school...not studying...procrastinating and it sure has paid off and now I wish I didn't mess up. My SAT isn't great (1700) and my GPA is a weighted 3.5.

To get straight to the point, I want to increase my chance of getting into U of R and hopefully get in Spring semester. I'm going to community college during the summer to raise my GPA. But I don't know what to do about my SAT score. Is it too late to take it again?

Does anyone have any suggestions when applying during spring semester (in general)?
