I’m a junior and NYU is currently the number 1 school I’m looking at. I’d really want to go to Stern, but I’m not sure my stats are good enough to get me in, they’re kind of on the border of good enough and not good enough. I know that on the application you’re allowed to put a first choice school and a second choice school, so my thought would be to put Stern first and CAS for economics second. However, an admissions person at NYU told me that they don’t allow stern and cas together on the application because they’re too different and cas doesn’t want Stern’s leftovers.
So what else could I put for the second choice that still has a business focus?
