Second Interview?

<p>What does it mean if a college wants to interview you again? I got an email from Harvard today asking to set up a second interview. Why would they need to do this?
It said: </p>

<p>Hi ___<strong><em>,
I am a member of the Harvard Schools and Scholarship Committee from _</em></strong>_ and have been asked by the Admissions Department in Cambridge to interview you as part of your application to Harvard.
I hope that you have time in your schedule for this second interview and, of course, I will be happy to come to any location that is convenient for you.
Please call me to arrange a time. You can reach me on my cell at <strong><em>-</em></strong>-****.
Thanks for your time.</p>

<p>If you had a "really really bad report," then they would've dismissed you by now. Harvard doesn't need to beat around the bush.</p>

<p>^^^ not necessarily... there are a lot of people with bad interview reports that are admitted.</p>
