Second Semester Crisis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so stupid. I am register to take AP HUman Geography next semester, but it conflicts with AP Physics C. Should I quit AP Human Geography although I told colleges I was going to take the class? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I regret any grammatical mistakes. The stress is overkilling me.

Chill. This is not the biggest crisis in your life, and if it is so far, there will be bigger ones - pace yourself!

Are you taking these through a part-time high school? If it’s the AP EXAMS that conflict, there are makeup days. If you can seriously take only one, take the one most closely aligned with your major.

Thank you GeekMom63.

You can also see if another school is offering what you need. They may have a different schedule that works better for you.

I think you need a few more exclamation points.

Don’t worry about it. My son’s spring semester coursework will look different than his original transcripts indicated. He is unable to find an Arabic 103 course, so he just won’t take it-period. I don’t think colleges will care.

Thanks to everyone who answered. I sincerely appreciate your response.

My son had the same type problem. He is semi-homeschooled and takes all of his classes through dual enrollment at the local university and, as a high school student, has last priority for registration. He simply contacted the university where he was recently accepted (and plans to attend) next fall and told them he had been shut out of a course he had listed on his application. They noted his new class selection in his admissions file and that was that. As long as you replace a course with an equally rigorous course it should not be a problem.

Thanks begginner.
