The second supplemental essay question asks "Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?". I plan on applying to LSA with preferred admissions to Ross, but because there is no guarantee that I will be admitted to Ross (or LSA for that matter), should I still focus my essay on why I plan on applying to Ross or should I focus more on LSA?

imo i would focus more on lsa, but mention that your goal is ross.

I would talk about Ross; if you get into Ross, starting your sophomore year around half your classes are Ross courses and the other half are LSA or other college courses. So I would talk about how the opportunities with Ross would give you both applicable skills (i.e. accounting) along with a liberal arts education.
