secondary school report --- URGENT question

my counselor is going to write my SAT scores from my March test date on the secondary school report. when i take it in october and send it to columbia, they will check the score report and ignore the scores on the school report correct? thats my first question.

also, my second question... in my SAT registration, do i have to indicate that I want my scores sent to Columbia BEFORE i take the test? or can i send the score report myself after receiving my scores??

1) Yes.
2) If ED, must indicate before November test. If RD, must indicate before December test.

Can forms/letters of rec/transcripts all be mailed in a standard sized envelope? One of the people working in my school’s counseling office said Columbia requires one of those huge 8 by 11 manila envelopes, but she wasn’t sure. I know Stanford does. Somewhere on Columbia’s app instructions it mentions not to fold any of the forms, but I figure folding them into thirds to put in an envelope is okay. This is just me be paranoid…but an answer would be nice! Or a simple I-Sent-In-A-Normal-Envelope-And-Got-Accepted. :D
