Seeking colleges with ASL or ASL Education major

My DD is a sophomore in high school. She’s currently in her second year of ASL and loves it. She is thinking she would like to major in it and perhaps teach high school ASL, although she’s open to other careers also.

So we’re trying to identify schools with either an ASL or ASL Education major. We’re in California, so would prefer schools in state or in WUE. Cost is a real factor and we’d like to keep it to $20-25k per year. She is a good student with a current 4.0 UW GPA. But she likely won’t take a ton of AP classes and not sure how well she’ll do on SAT/ACT as she’s not a fantastic test taker.

Would love to hear any suggestions or experience from those who have kids studying ASL in college.

Here is the list of the WUE schools. I don’t see Boise State on it but they offer as well.

Southern Idaho, Western Nevada, Western Oregon, Utah Valley, Utah, and Weber State…so the UU has a national profile and gets lots of positive comments. Others have written on the CC that residency is easy to obtain.

You will find some of these affordable as well - nationally - when you factor in merit.
