seeking to transfer schools but deadline has passed

so I will try to make this as simple and straight forward as possible:
I am not in love with my school and had a recent epiphany and would like to transfer, however, evidently the deadline dates for transfer applicants interested in the Fall 2015 semester has long past.

So if I sent an email and tried to write it eloquently and convincing as possible,
would I be a chucks-n-giggles sort of ordeal for admissions committees or would it be a reasonable risk to take?

I also do not want to hurt my chances if I end up having to apply to transfer for Spring 2015.

Deadlines are usually just that, but some colleges are still accepting applications if they haven’t filled available slots. Don’t expect much in the way of financial aid or housing, however. Before e-mailing the admissions office, check each college’s website to see if they say whether they’ve closed their admissions for Fall. If you’re really unhappy at your current college, you might need to wait for January 2016 admissions.
