<p>does it seem desperate to colleges if i took the SAT I 3 times and the ACT once?
i scored decently higher on the ACT but I dont want to look like i'm overdoing it.</p>

<p>Lots of kids take it three times. If you really think you can improve the score, go for it. If it’s just one last attempt hoping things go differently, but without a solid reason to think they will… then maybe it would be better to leave it be.</p>
