I will be an IB junior next year and I am having a difficult time selecting an AP science course.
My high school offers:
AP/IB Chemistry II
AP/IB Physics II
AP/IB Biology II
... Now, if I were to take Bio or Chem, I would have to take a one hour extra Bio/Chem early bird class (so basically one more hour of lab time) during the first semester. Even though, technically, it's an extra class, no additional science credit will be given.

I definitely did not enjoy Chemistry 1 Honors but I did enjoy Biology 1 Honors somewhat. I feel as though Biology would suit me well, but I am not going to major in anything in the science or math field... I don't know if it's worth it to give up a class period to spend extra time on science, which I absolutely despise, when I could be taking a different early bird class that I am passionate about and will give me seperate credit (whereas Chem and Bio EB is mandatory but no additional credit). I plan on majoring in international relations or pre-law. I have never taken a physics course (haven't taken Physics I) so I'm a little hesitant on taking AP/IB Physics II. I am very strong in Algebra, but I do have trouble with shapes and graphing (not the best). I heard that physics will help with logical thinking. So I'm willing to try it.

Chemistry, I think is out of the question. It's known to be a very difficult course, very time consuming...
Biology, a new teacher who has never taught AP/IB class is teaching it....
Physics seems to be the easiest... No extra Early Bird class! Which means I can squeeze in another class to my schedule!

I guess I'm between Bio and Physics...? I want to take Physics II, but what kind of math does it involve? Physics II B will be the AP exam I'll be taking!
Which AP science class should I take? I only plan on taking a science class my junior year and senior year, I'll be taking AP/IB Psychology.
