Do you think SB would provide me with the same amount of opportunities as Berkeley?
Honestly, that’s hard to tell. Among those who receive Federal loans, Cal econ majors, on average, do earn more than UCSB econ majors (and way more than UCSD econ or UCR business majors) out of college.
But the quality of the student body at Cal is higher than at those other UCs as well.
But how do you know how laid-back UCSB is if you haven’t visited?
Thats interesting! I was basing my thoughts more so off of what I’ve heard from others/current students about the environment at UCSB being more chill than UC Berkeley, but of course I don’t know for sure.
