Hello I have completed my housing application for 2019-2020 school year saw option for room preference but no option for selecting housing type such as Segundo and other residence halls. Wondering is that option something we get to do later or is it now random?
There should be an area that you can select and rate 1-3 for Segundo, Tercero or Cuarto. You cannot select dorm buildings in those areas.
I don’t see the dorm choice on their website. https://housing.ucdavis.edu/how-to-apply/room-choices/ They might have changed it this year. If you can’t find it on the application, call UCD Housing at 530-752-2033 and ask. They are open M-F from 8 am -5 pm.
It looks like they already set up which dorms the Living Learning Communities are in so, if you are really interested in one dorm and the LLC applies to your interest, that might be an option for you. (https://housing.ucdavis.edu/academics/living-learning-communities/2019-20/)
