Selecting major?

<p>What does that mean? I'm looking to transfer to UCR, and I just got an email from a counselor answering some of my questions.</p>

<p>"missing some lower division courses for the major shouldn't be a problem as Psychology is not a selecting major at this time."</p>

<p>^ This is what she said. Just curious.
Is it the same idea as impacted?</p>

<p>I may be wrong but it might be a typo and your counselor might have been trying to say “psychology is not a selective major right now.” If that’s the case, then no, it is not impacted but the opposite.</p>
