<p>on the fafsa, it says all males need to register with selective services to receive aid... but what if i'm not 18 yet? should i just select no?</p>

<p>You can still select yes. Your info will be provided to selective service and you'll be registered within a month or so of your 18th birthday.</p>

<p>Yup-- just check yes. We checked no because our son wasn't yet 18, and it caused a delay down the road.</p>

<p>Just keep repeating to yourself........VOLUNTEER MILITARY...........now say it again.</p>
