<p>For the optional supplement, can I submit a self portrait instead of a photograph of myself?</p>
<p>My couselor told me that I shouldn't do this since Vassar asks for a "photograph". She suggests that I send my self portrait for Your Space, but I want to send something else for Your Space. </p>

<p>You can send in a self-portrait along with the rest of your Your Space. I sent in several things so I’m sure you can send in a photo AND your self-portrait. [:</p>
<p>I would agree with Matt. I think that the photograph is likely just something they clip onto the application folder to give the committee a reminder that they’re talking about a real person when they discuss the application.</p>
