I’m been debating whether or not I should self-report my AP scores to colleges. I’ve taken the test for every AP class I’ve taken, and know that not reporting would make them question if I just got terrible scores, or was too lazy to take them. My scores aren’t stellar, especially for the colleges I’m aiming for (Cornell, UPenn, Hopkins, Northwestern).
My scores:
AP human geo: 5
AP Physics 1: 4
AP world: 4
AP Chem: 5
AP Calc: 4
AP Lang: 4
APUSH: 4
While these scores are by no means terrible, I’m majoring in BME, which is why I’m hesitant about reporting my 4 in physics and calc…
Also, I don’t have any research or math extracurriculars that would back me up as being good at math and physics.
And for all those saying that AP scores aren’t a part of the admissions process: someone directly from Cornell admissions has said that they do consider AP scores, so that’s great…
I know the deadline for most ivies is in a couple of days, which is why I decided to ask and finally make a decision; any advice is appreciated
