Self-reporting AP scores

Hello everyone!

I’m in sort of a sticky situation; I applied ED, but I neglected to self-report AP scores in Common App. Does anyone know if NU places a lot of weight on AP scores in the admission process? I guess what I’m asking is if I should call in/e-mail with a copy of my unofficial score report even though it’s a week past the deadline.

The thing is, I got a pretty dismal score on my AP Physics test last year (everything else was a 4 or 5, with one 3 on Euro). I’ve read that colleges will assume you failed if you don’t report anyway, so my current plan of action is to just send the unofficial report that has all of the scores, unless I’m advised otherwise lol.

Thanks in advance!

oh, and I listed AP Scholar with Honor and AP Scholar with Distinction as awards in common app

I emailed them folks in Evanston a couple weeks ago and they said that they would look at the scores and consider them a little bit but they won’t be significant factors in your admission decision so I wouldn’t worry about it too much if your SAT/ACT or SAT Subject Test Scores are on par

do you have to send the ap scores if you self-reported them?

netflicks – only if you want credit for them when you attend.

got it – so I can self-report and not send in anything unless I get accepted & attend.
