Self-Reporting Grades (Admitted Students)

When I applied via the UC application last November, I inputted my classes and grades from grades 9 through 11. I also put the classes in progress and planned for grade 12. I was admitted this March. On the “My Admissions” website, there is a section about making changes to the self-reported grades. This section seems ambiguous to me. I read it as requiring me to input updated grade information ONLY if: (1) there is a mistake on my previously reported (9-11) grades; (2) there is a change in the classes I took in grade 12; or (3) if I received any D or F grades in grade 12? I DON’T BELIEVE I AM OTHERWISE REQUIRED TO SELF-REPORT MY GRADE 12 GRADES. After all, they are going to get the official high school transcript by 7/1/19. Am I correct?

It is optional since they will be receiving your final transcript.
