UCLA self-reported grades?

Hi! Does UCLA undergraduate admissions only consider self-reported grades on the application? Or do they look at official school transcripts? I am nervous because my grades look better on the official transcript than they do self-reported!

On the self-reported grades, I entered my grade for each term (there are 4 terms each year). But on my transcript, it only shows my final year grades, which have my midyear and final exam grades factored into them. Is there anything I can do to make them look at my transcript? Or is it too late since I am supposed to hear my decision by mid-March?

Thanks!

Of course they look at the transcript - that is the official record. If the grades are better on the transcript that’s fine.

Actually, I don’t think UC’s pull transcripts until after decision time. At least we didn’t have them sent and the counselor didn’t send them. The website claims they should be sent once you accept admission to a campus. Perhaps they have a direct line to high schools that allow them to verify self-reported grades, but they don’t mention that. I would recommend you contact an admissions representative at each of the campuses you really want to attend and ask them about it.
