Self-reporting IB predicted scores

Hey guys,

When self-reporting IB scores under the testing section, should we include exams we've yet to take, and report our predicted scores?

For example, say I'm taking the May 2014 HL bio exam, and I'm currently predicted a 5. Should I fill in '5', or just leave it blank altogether?

I'm just a bit concerned that my predicted scores could change, and my 'official' predicted scores that are being sent off to IBO don't come out till right before exams next year. My school won't be sending off any predicted IB scores on my transcript for sure.

Thoughts? Advice?

Thanks a bunch!

I left my May 2014 exams blank, just as I did for the AP exams I will take in May 2014.

Thanks, impressionistic!

I feel like I’ll end up doing so as well, as long as other applicants from my school are doing the same thing. Hopefully I won’t be snaked.

you should put predicted score on the CA. Just leave it blank.

Ask your counselor to provide predicted scores in the school report or to deliver it with the transcript.

What do you mean by delivering with the transcript? Is there a space for IB predicted?
I am really confused, I go to high school outside USA and I will be first in my school to submit the CA, nobody here really knows how to do it :P

Yes, there is a spot in the School Report form (the leaving exams section) where the counselor can indicate your predicted scores.

Thank you niceday! Good to hear that!

Niceday,

Our counsellor is only submitting a transcript without any predicted marks. We don’t really consider IB exams to be ‘leaving exams’ where I’m from in Canada, so basically, unless I sneak my IB predicted scores on my app somewhere, colleges won’t be seeing them.

That said, I really wish I could submit my score…but it looks like I’m leaving everything blank.
