Self Study AP Government?

Hey guys. I am wondering if its effective to self study AP Government next year after taking APUSH this year. My school offers 13 APs, however they’re reducing the number of classes you can take per year from 7 to 5… (dumb). </p>

Im planning to take AP Eng. Literature with AP Euro, but I want another AP related to history/politics because I love both fields of study! </p>

Also, should I buy just review books, or a text book & a review book… or what? </p>

<p>My daughter is also finishing APUSH and considering self studying through Florida Virtual School the AP Govt. We’ve heard it is manageable. Anxious to hear from any students or parents of students who’ve accomplished this!</p>

<p>I am currently self-studying Gov after getting a 5 on APUSH last year. With a good knowledge of USH and current events, there isn’t all that much more to study. Very doable.</p>
