Which AP Physics would you guys recommend to self study for next year? And, is it even possible to get a 4 on one these without a class and without a ton of time spent?

It is possible to self study AP Physics B or C and get a 5. My question is, have to taken calculus or are you going to take calculus next year? If the answer is yes, then go right ahead and self study AP Physics C. I say study C because physics B is pretty useless. You can watch the MIT physics lectures for free on mit opencourseware or youtube. Actually right now I am self studing Electricity and Magentism using University Physics 12th edition and watch MIT lectures. You should buy a textbook, and learn from it. Many people have a problem with learning from a textbook, so read these tips: [Study Hints for Physics, Engineering, & Mathematics](HugeDomains.com)

To learn best:
- First Skim the chapter you’re going to start
*watch the first couple of Lectures
*Read the entire chapter WITHOUT going through the EXAMPLE Problems.
*watch remaining lectures that correspond to the chapter you are reading.
*REREAD the same chapter this is time going over the example problems. This should be your “THIRD PASS” of the chapter.

This done within a week or so if you include practice problems(per chapter, but work in a timely manner). Buying a student solutions manual isn’t a bad idea.

***NOTE: If you are not going to take Calculus (AP or not, it doesn’t matter) then stick AP Physics B, but I reccommend self studying Calculus to take Physics C (at the same time)

I hope this helps! :)

Thanks! I will be in AP Calculus AB next year, so if do choose to self study AP Physics, I will most likely choose Physics C.
