Self Study APs

Hi, a question for the cc experts (no sarcasm intended). I made my D take AP Human Geography and AP World History tests in 9th grade as practice, sort of to prepare her for next year. They have neither AP class in school, but she was taking regular World History. She hasn’t studied for either test, and I was fine with it. I think I was trying to teach her a lesson “if you don’t put in the effort, you will fail” (don’t think I succeeded, since she hasn’t studied for subsequent exams, either, and still did well enough). Anyway, she got a 3 on HumGeo and a 4 on World History. Question: should she report the 4 for World History or would it make her look as a nerd? The only reason I thought it might be useful is that by the end of junior year she would have taken 5 more AP tests (got 5 on APEuro, I assume 4 or above on the other tests), and there might be an AP Scholar or similar award for 6 tests where she got 4 or above. If she lists an award, but doesn’t list all the AP scores that have gotten her that award, would it be considered a red flag? Thanks!

So many things to say, but I’ll just move along, except to say that it is not in good form to hijack a thread. A new question warrants a new thread.

I see no reason not to report a 4.

No.

Which is a pretty piece of paper, but that’s about it. The possible credit, IMO, is more important.
