Self-study for AP Psych and Environmental Science?

Next year, I’m going to be a sophomore and I’m thinking of self studying for the AP Psychology and AP Environmental Science exams because I’m really interested in both of those areas but my schedule didn’t allow me to sign up for either of the classes. I’ve heard that these two are one of, if not the easiest AP exams. However, I’m taking AP European History next year as a class and everyone says its very difficult. If I start studying for all 3 AP exams this summer, should I be prepared enough for the exams or am I biting off more than I can chew?

I’m aiming to get a 5 for AP Euro and AP Psych.

Can you take them in future years? Actually taking the course and having it show up on your transcript will be more beneficial than self studying imo. Also you should check if the schools you are thinking of accept those credits, some don’t always do

AP Environmental Science is not something I recommend self studying. I took it this year and I found it to be more than the simple “vocab test” that CC’ers make it out to be . It is more concept based and connecting the dots which can be hard for some without being in a class. Additionally, the mathematics/dimensional analysis can take some time to grasp. AP Psychology (I have not taken) on the other hand, seems like a pretty straightforward vocab test that can easily be self studied after looking through a review book thoroughly.

thanks! @IvyBound511 I think I’m going to drop environmental science and just study for AP Euro and AP Psych instead

no problem @aude182
