So after this week of finals, I already completed my regular US history class

How hard is apush if I self-study?

As for APWH, the last time I reviewed this was sophmore year. And now i’m finishing up junior year. How hard is it to self- study for this?

Compare APWH and APUSH self- study?

APUSH isn’t that hard to self-study. Just look online for sample responses for DBQs and FRQs.

Can’t help you with APWH, since I’ve never taken it.

Just read AMSCO (free online) and REA Crash Course for APUSH and you are guaranteed a 5!

Not too sure about AP World, but a lot of my friends that have taken it along with APUSH say it’s a harder class than APUSH. Personally, I took APUSH as a freshman, and I didn’t think it was too bad. Then again, I’m sorta biased since I like history haha! Anyway, it depends. Both have a lot of analysis and reading to do, but both are fun classes in my opinion. Take what you feel you will be less interested in because it’s easier to self-study a topic of interest.

APUSH already have a lot of materials, but if it is APWH than there is going to be a lot more information to learn. I took APUSH my sophomore year and it was easy. Sadly, I got a 3 on the exam because I didn’t finish the multiple choice. However, in my defense (and to just make me feel better) I was running late so that didn’t help bring down the butterflies in my stomach, and I even ended up zoning out for like ten minutes… so yeah, main point is: you should probably self-study APUSH instead.

Both are really easy, but APUSH is an easier exam because the curve for a 5 is TREMENDOUS! It’s something like 117-180, and it’s fairly easy to score well past 130 given the right amount of preparation.

I feel APWH is many times easier–well to cram in a short period of time. APUSH is very deep and you have to pay attention to the details to get the MC done and write good essays while APWH is just skimming each time period and civilization for the main ideas and the essays are a little bit easier to nab the points if you know how it is scored.

Self-studying for an ap test isn’t common in my school, so everyone’s surprised that i’m thinking about this xD.

Thanks you guys for the advice :)

Self study both they are easy to pass.
