Self-study Geometry - resources?

Hi. I’m looking for some resources for self-study of Geometry over the summer.

Art of Problem Solving has Introduction to Geometry, however, I have to say I’m not a big fan of their text-only online classes. My eyes! I’m sure there are classes available at coursera.org, edx.org, Khan Academy or other similar sites.

Do any of you have experience with any of these courses? Any thoughts on their effectiveness? How much did you or your student like the class (as self-study outside of school)? This is the summer, after all! Looking for concentrated but comprehensive or even…fun?

Thanks.

What level (regular, honors, etc) are you looking for? We used Teaching Textbooks (bought a used copy for pretty cheap). For my non-mathy son, it was decent. We then went onto AoPS and community college classes. We’ve used Khan Academy videos for various things, but not for a whole subject review-more like specific topics within a subject.

My oldest son borrowed some Chalkdust videos to review SAT math many moons ago, and it really helped him solidify some geometry concepts since he’d taken geometry in elem. school and had forgotten a good bit of it. They are expensive, though.

You can buy the AoPS Introduction to Geometry without enrolling in their online class.

Chalkdust is a good geometry option. http://www.chalkdust.com/geom.html

Try thinkwell. They have self paced online classes. The videos are fun.

I think Edward Burger has a geometry program on Thinkwell. Can’t do better than Burger!

Yep. Thinkwell is Burger.

Teaching textbooks is what I used back in 9th grade. I thought it was excellent.
