Self-Studying AP World History. Help!

So I planned to take WHAP at my school, which taught by a very good teacher and is a very interesting class. I like history, took our hardest geography course freshman year, and plan to take APUSH in the following year. However, due to a scheduling conflict, I had to either take an extra pre-ap course (geometry, along with WHAP and english), or take all regular classes. I went with the former, but three weeks in it got too much, so I opted to drop WHAP and geometry (I’m TERRIBLE at math :/)

Our regular level history class is rumored to not really be much of a serious course, so I was thinking of reading the material myself and taking the AP exam with everyone else at the end of the year. I go to a quite rigorous performing/visual arts school (I’m a visual artist!!), so I may not have the time, but how would I go about doing this? I’ve spoken to my professor about it already, and he suggested Khan Academy as well as geta5.com, but I feel like this won’t be enough. Where do I start?

I wouldn’t bother self-studying any APs. I think your time would be much better spent doing as well as you can in your academic classes and being involved in your art and ECs.
As an aside, are you taking any math? You should.

Yes I am! I’m still taking geometry, just at a lower level, as I still need four math credits to graduate. I mainly wanted to do it for the challenge, since I really do want a harder history curriculum, but I probably don’t have the time :frowning:
