Self studying Calculus AB

So, I started self studying Calculus AB today using Mcgraw Hill's AP Calculus AB/BC.

I would like to know whether or not Mcgraw Hill is a good prep book for Calculus AB.

I'm planning to get the Barron's, but the book has not yet arrive. However, in the mean time, I would like to get some feedbacks concerning McGraw Hill's book and other prep book that you guys recommend me to get.

Thanks! :)

Since you posted, you obviously have internet assess at times. Therefore, I advise you to use the following resource:
[Pauls Online Notes : Calculus I](http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcI/CalcI.aspx)
You may also download the notes in a pdf file.
On the same site there are notes for Calc 2 and 3 and other college math courses.
I also encourage you to go to the Collegeboard’s site to know about the exam.
[AP Central - AP Calculus BC Course Home Page](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>AP Calculus BC Course – AP Central | College Board)

About McGraw Hill’s book: It provides a decent overview of calculus, although it doesn’t go into the proofs. Although proofs aren’t on the exam, they are essential to college mathematics. The proofs of various calculus theorems are in the Extras section of Paul’s notes.
Most importantly, focus on conceptual learning.
Do well learning calculus!
