I got into Stanford EA. Tell me why I should want to go to Princeton over this school, and any other school in the world.

Princeton is the best, and the whole feel of the school is unmatched by any other. Besides the colder weather, everything is amazing. Ivy league tradition, an awesome mascot, and a liberal foundation.

It really depends on your major. What do you plan to do?

I plan to major in physics, but I’m not very certain. I’ve been to Princeton’s campus and I loved it (haven’t been to Stanford’s). I’m just looking for anyone who goes there/is knowledgeable about the school to give me their input, so I can make the best choice for me. I posted several other messages about top schools; just digging for insight.

Hoagie Haven. 'nuff said

Is it very vegetarian friendly?

Well, my dad went to Princeton. He said that it is very “artsy”. He also said he had so much fun his GPA was relatively low. IMO Stanford is better for physics.

Just walk on the Pton campus and ull immediately see that Stanford cant even come close to it in terms of beauty.

I saw the campus, but I didn’t get to speak with any students (quick trip because money has become tight). Looking to get the most input I can so I can make the best decision that I can.

And… yeah. The campus literally took my breath away.

Well sure, you can all ways leave meat off any sandwich and the staff there will al lways accommodate you. Of course you can order a dish of Buffalo cheese fries,(vegan) $2.20. A meal in it self. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Then again, Tiger noodle is right next door.

Oh and btw, quit crossposting in all the
hyp forums. ITs very trollish :)

I was accepted at Stanford EA and chose Princeton. The choice was difficult, but in retrospect it should have been very easy (but I’m not biased :P).

Because our situations are similar, I think I may be able to provide insight. However, I’ll need more to go on (“sell me on Pton” is a bit broad). What do you want to know about?

How’s princeton in economics? What about linguistics? study abroad?

"IMO Stanford is better for physics. "

I haven’t looked at Stanford, but I’m applying to Princeton in physics because it has the best physics program in the country. (among liberal arts schools, anyway)

I would put Harvard’s and Princeton’s programs above Stanford’s. Princeton’s senior thesis is one of my major reasons why it’s a better program. They require you to do research, and although these opportunities are present elsewhere, it’s only required at Princeton. And undergraduate research is basically necessary for a good grad school app. Go Princeton. :)

The thesis requirement also guaruntees that you get to know a professor REALLY well, leading to a built in recommendation for anything else you plan to do.
(There is an equivalent for juniors too)
