i hate HATEEEE our gradeing system.. i still dont get if 6s are good or not.. this is aperently the ib scale and we dont have gpas or ranking or anything so im so clueless about my grades - but im the highest in my class of 7 ppl ( wow go class of 2006 thrs 7 ppl in it)lol
im applying to nyu-tisch, yale, pton, columbia(maybe),u of chicago, suffolk, northwestern u of toronto,mcgill....i donno where else i might cut this list down by next year

How much do you all get for AP?! My school only adds a fourth of a point for AP courses - pretty much my school makes sure you don't get much over 4.0 on the 4.0 scale...

I win I have a C in physics. Counts as a B though, hehe. Last quarter I had 2 B's and my GPA went UP to 4.6. Before junior year you can't take all honors/AP at my school so it's near impossible to get over 4.5, which is what I had. It should have had a 4.7 at the end of this year. Now my GPA is screwed. Oh well.

and... HOW COULD THE EAGLES LOSE? cries

how are u all getting such high gpas...

How exactly does your school allow you to take 11 classes, islanders? That seems extremely unefficient to me, even if it's a block schedule.

I think the way my school calculates GPA is by taking the mean of all your grades, then adding .025 for each AP class. I'm not positive that that's correct, though...
