how do you get 100+ in honors classes? are they incredibly easy or do you just work like crazy? i know in my school even the smartest kids are relieved to pull off a b+ in certain honors/ap classes

I'm the smart lazy type. 2180 SATs, but eh...less than stellar GPA. Most likely a cumulative 3.28 UW (4.28 W)...all honors and APs, so I've challenged myself. Report cards are mailed final quarter, so for a couple of these, this is just an estimate:

AP US History: B
H Physics: B
H English III: B
H Precalculus: B
H Spanish IV: A
AP Statistics: B

I got the 100 because of some extra credit work that I did. Grade inflation? Yeah, pretty much. But I got high 90s on my research papers and mostly full credit on our timed writes.

Dual Enrollment Classes
Tech Writing A
Comp. World Politics A
Physics: Mechanics (calc-based) B+
Calculus 2, grades haven't been released yet...A-/B+

Overall, I would have liked to have done better in math and science (I hate humanities!), but I guess I'm pretty satisfied. It was a pretty tough load because normal load is 3 classes and I crazily decided to take 4 plus the AP history online. Big mistake, it turned out to be way more work than I had thought it would be ;)

To Nicole43o7: I'm just good at memorizing history, that is why I got over a 100 in the class. It didn't take much work on my part, but I know some of my friends tried their hardest and still couldn't get an "A". The class would be hard for people that can not memorize history to the littlest detail or write good five page essays in 20 minutes. I'm more of a humanities type of person, rather than a math/science person.

My overall GPA for academic courses is 3.73 uw, 4.0 w.
