It's not fair, we don't have a Law course, I'm going to the administration about this.

I just like to say that I hate all of you that are getting over a 4.5 because at my school AP's only add half a point to your GPA; even then there has only been one person in my schools history to have a cummulative GPA of 5.0.

eh u can never really compare gpa between different schools, all you can do is make approximations in order to see differences between gpa's in schools, my old school had a sharply differing sacle from my new school, this is the same all around the country. what really matters is how well you do in your school, amongst your fellow classmates who are under the same scale and gpa standards as you are...anywayz my grades..:

I don't know my gpa yet, but I do know my school refuses to weight anything so it will probably be around 3.5 I think. I slacked off a little last semester and am hoping to get a 4.0 this semester to make up for last semester. I'm a sophomore and am planning to attend a state school probably. But I still want to get good grades in order to get scholarships.

Our school district decided that they should implement a MANDATORY area studies class called Alaska Studies.

Honestly, it was a waste of time. It's a one semester long class and all you do is watch movies or do worksheets. I guess the purpose is to promote awareness about the Native tribes around Alaska or something to that effect... pointless... :(

lol, didn't mean to insult alaska. i thought it'd be ecology and history. haha all i know about alaskan history is that it belonged to the russians who sold it to us and then we had some gold rush and then bush wants oil. yup.
