Im transferring from a semester-based community college to Oregon State University, which is in the quarter system. So that means instead of taking 3-4 classes for 16 credits you take 4-6 classes?
My major is nuclear engineering and it looks like for my first semester at OSU I'll be taking Diff Eq (3 credits), Electrical Fundamentals (3), Statics (3), Intro to NE and RHP (2), Nuclear Physics I (4).
That just seems like alot of extra work, doing homework for 5 classes instead of 3 or 4, or are they easier because they are only 3 credits each?

Please help, I cant see an advisor before I transfer and I dont want to overdo it!
