Okay, so I know a 1900 is a “neutral” score… so would it be wise to send it to bowdoin?

It won’t get me in, but at the same time, I don’t think it will be so horrible that I will be rejected. Also, can I omit my SAT II scores?

Bowdoin's range is pretty high, 1900 might actually hurt you. You can omit all the scores you want if they're bad.

A 1900 SAT score is well below Bowdoin's range. You probably should not send those scores to Bowdoin. . .

the idea of an SAT optional school is not to ignore the SAT, but to give the applicant control to submit it. when submitted, the SAT counts as much at Bowdoin as it does anywhere else. Those scores are not neutral for Bowdoin and you should not submit them.

By not submitting a SAT score, how bad is my disadvantage?

It is a disadvantage for you the moment you step into Bowdoin's admission pool. It can only help you if you don't send it.
here's two ways to get in Bowdoin
1. high SATs, or at least within Bowdoi's range. great ECs, good GPA
2. no SATs, super super great ECs and super great GPAs, super super super great everything else. So see, if you have have lots of things to make up for not sending SATs.
So yea, if you are one of them, apply

If you're neither, consider other schools.

the admissions office reports that the acceptance rate for those not submitting SATs is the same as it is for those who do submit. so i think your chances are roughly 20%.
