I am deciding on whether I should send in my ACT scores for admission, or not to send any scores at all. I took the ACT earlier this month and got a 30, but my concern in my science score. I received a 24 on the science section, so I'm figuring I should not send in the score. However, when I took the test the first time, back in June, I received a 29 for the science section, while receiving a 27 for the composite score. I'm not sure if Holy Cross looks at individual sections, or if it would help me by sending in both scores to show the 29 over the 24. Should I send in any scores? My GPA is very high, I have always gotten straight As, and my extracurriculars are good.

I think I would send in all the scores since if you superscore them you did well. The very high GPA is the most important element. I don’t think the scores will hurt at all and may help.

Thank you. Since Holy Cross is score-optional, I do not want my scores to hurt my chances of all things. I appreciate it.

For the ACTs, we will take your highest composite score. We do not look at the individual sections to superscore them. So, if you choose to send your scores, we will see that you achieved a 30.
