Send both ACT 31 and SAT 1900 or only ACT?

Hi!

I'm applying to selective colleges and I was wondering whether I should only send the 31 I got in the ACT or if I should also send my 1900 SAT. If I send both scores, will my SAT score bring my profile down or will admission officers not even look at it and instead focus on my ACT score? Is there any advantage in sending my SAT score or should I just completely ignore I ever took it and save money and effort in sending it to colleges?

Also, I have a question about how sending scores works. I'm planning on self-reporting my scores in my Common App, but I heard I should also send them to each college I'm applying to via the ACT/SAT webpage. Is it necessary for me to send an email to each university giving them a heads up that I've just sent them my score or will it automatically go to a file under my name where they will collect my Common App, supplement essays, scores, letters of recommendations, etc.? Basically, is there anything else I should do apart from self reporting them and sending them over to each university directly? Sorry if this may seem like a really stupid question, I'm an international student and my college counselor doesn't know how to help me.

Thank you for your help!

I would just send the ACT score

I too would say just send the 31 ACT. Also, when you send colleges a score report through the ACT website you do not need to give those colleges the heads up.
