Hi,
Last year, my local newspaper wrote a feature article about me that, in addition to discussing some athletic and academic accomplishments, talks about some personal issues I’ve overcome (loss of a parent, taking care of a special needs sibling). It occured to me this might be something beneficial to send to colleges (maybe serving a similar function to an additional rec letter, as I am not sending one of those). Thoughts? Also, how would I go about sending them the article?
