Send my old SAT scores or new ones?

Hey everyone, it's Dreamingbig, your favorite member on this site.
I came down to my final list of schools I'm applying to- UVA and UNC.
It's rather small but I'm confident I can get into both. (I wrote some spectacular essays, especially on the UVA supplement)

So, I took the SAT in HS, 3 years ago and I got the following scores
Critical Reading- 600
Math- 580
Writing- 720, Essay Subscore- 9/12

I retook the SAT on October 9th after 3 years away from it, hoping to boost my math score, but I didn't do too much studying for it cause the math problems on the SAT Study Guide book were really annoying me.

Anyway this time around I got these scores
Critical Reading- 640 (definitely expected higher)
Math- 570
Writing- 740, Essay Subscore 11/12

I already decided I'm not sending my SAT scores to UNC, but I'm required to send them to UVA. I reported the old scores on my common application submission. Do you think I should send the old scores or the new ones?

Not to be mean, but I highly doubt you will get into UVA with those scores. Math is really easy to raise, just do the problems over and over.

That’s funny… I don’t really recall asking about whether or not you think I’ll get into UVA.
And who cares about my SAT Math scores? I’m not a math major. I’m done with all my college math courses. That 570 means nothing to me.

So which scores should I send?

Hmmm I don’t think it’d matter what scores you sent - they’re sorta close to each other, and SATs are a predictor of your college readiness.

I think you have a decent shot at both schools! UNC and UVA are great. Good luck :)
