Hi, I'm a sophomore in high school and I just got back my sat scores. I got a 2370.. and I'm not gonna take it again. I've read a lot but I still don't really understand it. If I send it does it send every sat/sat II thing I've taken ever or only this one score? And does it even mean anything sending it right now? I need advice! thanks

No reason to send it now. Whenever you order College Board to send any SAT score to a college it always sends every SAT and SAT subject test score it has for you unless you specifically choose to withhold the sending of a particular score. Thus, if you later take SAT subject tests and send those to colleges, your SAT will also be sent

Hey, same score!

Why would you send it now? In two years, you might not be applying to the same colleges! Or, just as likely, they will have tossed out your score because there was such a large time gap between getting the score and getting the rest of your application.

If you send now, it looks as if you are applying now, early. If you were asking about sending them with your free score reports, there would be no harm, but the date to do that is already past. Send them at the beginning of your Senior year, or end of Junior year if you take subject tests then and have free reports. The only place that can use them now is the talent search programs, if you want to participate in their programs.

Disagree. Usually you get several free reports. We used these to send scores to state schools plus one or two on radar. It does help. Based on this, D invited in Jr year to special tour for top candidates that was so much more informative than regular tours. Wouldn’t have had this opportunity if had waited until end of jr year. If don’t want to do it now because free time passed won’t hurt you, but we always sent free ones somewhere.
