My son is a sophomore and just took SAT this past November. His score CR: 730; Math:800; Writing: 750.
Question is should he start sending the score to his idea colleges? Is there any good or bad sending the score early?
Thanks all for the help!

I don’t see any advantage of sending score so early. You never know, something might happen and then you’re screwed for some reason because you sent the scores. Think of murphy’s law, take decisions while weighing pro’s and con’s.

But that’s just me :)

You had the chance to send 4 free scores, which you could have and, without recognizing any other factor involved, you should have.

At this point, since you have to pay for those scores, there’s no point sending them.

I took the SAT as a Sophomore and only sent scores because I could send 4 of them for free. If you do decide to send, it is best to check in with the school. Most schools will keep it on record for you, but some (one that I was going to send to) did not want it.

How do certain individuals take the SAT real early? Does College Board allow that?
