Hi, I just submitted my application to Rice,
I was wondering if I can only send my SAT subject scores to Rice when I am going to use my ACT score.
The problem is that I have taken the SAT reasoning test once and did horribly on it, I wonder if I can hide this and only send the subject scores or if I just shouldn't send all SATs.

Good luck to everyone

You’re perfectly capable of selecting the SAT scores you want to send and excluding your Reasoning. That being said, Rice does require that you submit all scores. I don’t know that they have a way of finding out that you excluded it, but why risk it?
Because Rice bases admission on your best scores, I doubt that they’d even give your less-than-awesome Reasoning score a second glance. It’s not uncommon for people to do better on one and not the other. And if you did well on your subject tests, it obviously wouldn’t hurt your chances to give them more evidence of you qualifications.
I’d recommend just submitting it all.
Good luck!!

Thanks for your response PleaseRice, and Happy New Year!

No problem. (:
Happy New Year to you too!!
