Sending ACT Scores to Colleges?

Hello,
I was wondering what is the best way to prepare for the ACT. Also, if you are trying to send scores to more than four colleges, but don't have the money to pay the fees, do some colleges accept if one directly sends them the score?(for example printing it and send it an envelope? or email it). I really want to send my score to more than four colleges!

Preparing for the ACT: Not much more than practice, practice, practice. Besides buying the red ACT book (the only official one), you can find a few released ACT tests online for free.

Sending scores: You can opt four colleges to receive your scores for free, given at the time of registration. After that however, you can only send additional scores by paying a fee for each college. Unfortunately sending scores through ACT’s website is the only official, recognized method to do so, so there is no way to avoid the fees.

Ok, thank you! Anyone else have more ideas?
