Sending AMC scores after Regular Action deadline.

Hi CC,
I am a high school senior in US. I applied to several Ivy’s and top schools by regular action. However, I just learned that I qualified for AIME with a 100-110 score and also I got into USACO Silver Division in the January contest. I wonder if I should email the admissions committees of the schools I applied and tell them about these.

A little about me: I have pretty good standardized test scores and in my application I listed math and computer clubs as my ec’s but I didn’t have any awards to list. So I thought that showing my studies finally paid off might help.

I don’t know if they will just ignore the email or if it will hurt my chances. What are your thoughts?

Send it. I think this counts as a big, new item of information.

I cannot see how it can hurt, unless you’ve been emailing every couple of days. And even then, no worries.
