I just realized that, as someone who put that he wants to major in mathematics in college, I never even mentioned my AMC/AIME scores on the initial application I submitted. Do you think that I should update the admissions office with my scores?

Also, a somewhat related question: should I update Princeton with some recent awards that I've received after submitting my application? Some of them are regional awards and might be considered as not that significant, but some are more significant, I suppose...

If you meant that you made AIME in the past years but you didn’t mention it, go ahead and tell them your scores (AMC, AIME). I have a friend who made AIME his senior year who went on to send the scores to couple of colleges. so it shouldn’t hurt you sending them your achievements.

But then again, sending in a score like 88.5 on AMC 12, which I overheard was the cutoff for AIME this year, wouldn’t affect your decision much. Getting a 120 + on AMC 12 or scoring over 7 or 8 on AIME would perhaps give you a little edge.
